to our Seventh Annual Charity Quiz Night
As we enter another New Year, preparations for our Seventh Annual
Charity Quiz Night are in full swing. We anticipate
another evening of tension filled drama as members and guests battle to lift
the Quiz Champions title. Our General Club Meeting is set
for 7.30pm on Friday 3 February
2012, to be followed shortly afterwards by the Quiz Event. The usual
Charity Raffle will take place during the evening and we
invite members and guests to join us for another night of unbridled drama
with the proceeds going to our nominated charity for this year - Aisling
- Return to Ireland Project. Entry Fee is £10 for each
two member team and individuals are very much encouraged to attend as the
organising committee will ensure participation for all.
Booth - RIP - Tenth Anniversary
In this year of 2012, we mark the tenth anniversary of the sad passing of
Tony Booth, whose contribution to the development of the
Republic of Ireland Soccer Supporters Club (London) is indefinable. Long standing
members will be aware that St Luke's Hospice, Kenton played
a supporting role during Tony's sad departure from this life and, together
with his widow Catherine and son Turlough, the Club encourages any support,
however small, that club members and friends can lend to the Hospice. Contributions
can be made directly to St
Luke's Hospice through the attached link.
